The Frogs had a great season last summer, our second in Division 1, taking third place in the Divisional Championships and finishing fourth overall in Division 1. Come and join us for another summer of diving fun! We are looking forward to seeing the familiar faces of our returning coaches and dive team families, and getting to know all of the new divers and their families

Flower Valley Dive Team welcomes new and experienced divers; all you need is enthusiasm and a desire and willingness to learn new dives in a safe and fun environment. Our coaches are ready to share their talents and expertise to help all our divers, new and returning, to build their skills and confidence in summer diving to reach their full potential.

3 WAYS TO REGISTER !

1. By Mail: Use the enclosed forms, or download from the FVBRC website at www.fvbrc.com (just follow the link to the Dive Team page).

2. Swim and Dive Team Sign-up Evenings: Come to the Swim and Dive Team sign-up evenings, which will be held at Flower Valley Elementary School from 6:30pm-8:00pm on Thursday, May 6th and Wednesday, May 12th. Meet your Dive Team coaches and reps, and get your registration in by the early discount deadline.

3. Try and Dive: If you’ve ever wanted to give diving a try but didn’t want to fully commit to the team until you’d been off the boards a few times … you can! For the special price of $10 (which is needed to cover insurance costs) you can come to practice for the first week and give it a go. If at the end of the week you’re hooked (and we know you will be) you can pay your full team membership. Complete the Try and Dive form and submit by mail, or at the Sign-up Evenings in May. So come on, take the plunge!

EARLY SIGN-UP DISCOUNT OF $35: If you register up at the sign-up nights at Flower Valley Elementary, or if your mailed registration is received by May 30th, you are eligible for the early discount rate of just $35 per family and $30 per diver. After the May 30 deadline, the regular registration rate of $70 per family and $30 per diver will be in effect. Please mail in your form early, or come to one of the FVES sign-up events!

SPIRIT WEAR: Another reason for all divers to come to the sign-up nights at FVES is to order your Flower Valley Frogs team swimsuits and Spirit Wear. Sample products will be available for you to view and try on. Get in on the early order and have your FV Frogs Sprit Wear and team suits in time for the start of the season!

DIVE MEET AND CALENDAR DATES
We are still working on the summer calendar and coordinating event and spirit dates with the Swim Team. The updated calendar will be available at the Swim and Dive Sign-up nights, posted at www.fvbrc.com and emailed to all Dive Team families.

Meet #2 June 27

Divisional Championship Meet July 25
All Stars July 28 and 29

PRACTICE TIMES
Our daily After School practices will begin the day after Memorial Day, Tuesday June 1st, with our traditional hot chocolate and cookie kick off!
Age 12 and Under: 4:30 – 5:30pm Age 13 and Over: 5:30 – 6:30pm

Morning practices will be added to the daily line-up on June 16th, the day after MCPS schools let out for the summer.
